A Grand Victorian Treasure

Built in 1889 and remodeled into its stately Queen Anne form in 1899, The Bishops' House is one of Boise's most beloved landmarks. Once home to the Episcopal Bishops of Idaho, the house was saved from demolition in 1975 by community volunteers who formed The Friends of The Bishops' House.

Today, the restored Victorian home, with its sweeping verandas, original hardwood floors, and period furnishings, serves as a unique venue for weddings, events, and community gatherings. Every event you hold here directly supports its ongoing preservation.
