A Setting Like No Other
The Bishops' House has become a desired destination in Boise as a venue for special events. A grand, sweeping veranda wraps around three sides of the house, with entry to the Foyer, Front Parlor, Dining Room, Music Room, and Service Kitchen. Up the open stairway, the second floor features the Rose Room (Bride's) and Sumac Room (Groom's).
The Rose Room, within the curve of the turret, features soft ivory tone-on-tone wallpaper, lace curtains, and a chandelier, opening onto a small private balcony. The Sumac Room sports elegant, richly colored striped wallpaper and carpeting, with period chairs and artwork.
The Garden includes a Gazebo, Rose Garden Arch, and Shade Garden along a picturesque rock wall, perfect for ceremonies and photography.
