Built in 1889 and remodeled into its stately Queen Anne form in 1899, The Bishops' House is one of Boise's most beloved landmarks. Once home to the Episcopal Bishops of Idaho, the house was saved from demolition in 1975 by community volunteers who formed The Friends of The Bishops' House.
Today, the restored Victorian home, with its sweeping verandas, original hardwood floors, and period furnishings, serves as a unique venue for weddings, events, and community gatherings. Every event you hold here directly supports its ongoing preservation.
From intimate weddings to community fundraisers, The Bishops' House offers a one-of-a-kind setting with historic character that no hotel ballroom can match.
All rentals include inside use of the house, folding chairs, and banquet serving tables. Now booking for 2026 & 2027.
